February 4, 2022 by Denise Urban, BeneficiaryHello A-Team,
Happy February and with it here comes the snow!
It feels like the pace of activities has really picked up in our household. I have some very happy and exciting news to report- Autumn was able to see the Lion King performance at the Detroit Opera house last week. We are enormously grateful to the Shedneck foundation, an organization of six men that are dedicated to creating magical and memorable experiences for local teens diagnosed with cancer. Not only did she have front row seats, sitting next to her boyfriend and two friends- they were also chauffeured by limousine, dined at a fancy Italian restaurant and had a professional photographer take pictures. The cherry on top was delivered the next day in the form of a Zoom visit with two of the Lion King performers. The Shedneck Foundation went above and beyond and their dedication was evident throughout all the planning for this event. I think her glowing smile in the pictures I've attached attests to the tremendous success of their efforts. Our deepest gratitude to this amazing non-profit!
· An amazing group, Shedneck Foundation, treated Lane and Abigail Siddall to a VIP afternoon. They got to visit Stock X, have a nice dinner, then experience The Weeknd like nobody else! Lane has more photos from the concert, so I need to post some of those, too. Meanwhile, check this out! What an amazing foundation and just all-round great group of people. We have enjoyed getting to know them and already feel like family.
· On Wednesday, Lane Kleinglass had his Warrior Event. Thanks to Mike Steckel for organizing, and Sadelle Moore from StockX. Evening continued with sushi for dinner, and then off to VIP Lounge & front row tix for The Weeknd !!!
